lomion_aredhelion If you are a fan of Dead Can Dance, Arcana, Azam Ali and Armand Amar, this album is right up your alley. A must-have for anybody who'd like a taste of Farya's versatility, from epic songs such as 'Achaemenes' to contemplative songs, passing by the mournful 'Mithra' and the delicate 'Andarz'. The beautiful vocals feel like a caress.

With 30 tracks, this album is a hero's journey to the worlds under and beyond. Favorite track: The Death of Sohrab.

nihlanth This album splashed into the still waters of my spirit. The ripples turned into persistent, resonating waves and developed into cresting tidal waves. I have transformed. Favorite track: Humata.

about

The history of Iran is one of queens and kings, gods and demons, empires that rose and fell; a history of blood, love and tragedy. Experience that history through music. This album is my effort to bring the sound of Iranian music and the history of Iranian civilisation to new ears by combining traditional Iranian music with an epic, orchestral sensibility similar to Hollywood film scores. From epic war pieces to serene love songs, this album is a soundtrack to the history and civilisation of Old Iran.
